I've barely touched my makeup since March. I miss doing my makeup. The pressure is off, and I've welcomed the break. My routine hasn't changed. I've been watching tutorials and browsing makeup content, so my interest is piqued. My makeup looks way different on Zoom than it does in person. I've modified my makeup routine for Zoom. Occasionally Makeup Which description best characterizes your current makeup collection? Minimal: a foundation, a mascara, and a blush. Small and sensible: enough for everyday, but nothing fancy. Functional: the necessities for one day look, and 2-3 products you'll add to it for a night out. Tired: the same stuff you've always used, even if you've never particularly liked it. Eclectic: a few basics, a lot of sample sizes, and more than 5 products you never use, but haven't let go of. Organized: you know what you like, you use all of it, it works together, and you simply replace things as needed. Moderate: you've got the essentials, a little variety, and a few palettes and lipsticks for special occasions. Adventurous: your bases are covered, but you love your neons, glitters, and brights most of all. Bountiful: you might have more than most, but you care for it and know how to use it. I strongly dislike spending money on makeup. It seems like an unnecessary cost. I'd rather use up something I don't like than spend money to replace it. I don't wear makeup often enough to justify spending money on it. I'm happy as a clam shopping at the drugstore. I don't see any difference between drugstore and luxury. If I buy something that doesn't end up working for me, I'm able to throw/give it away without feeling discouraged. If a professional recommends a product, I'll buy it because I trust their opinion over mine. I have a tendency to overspend: I'm attracted to luxury. Because I struggle with my skin, I'll pay for anything if there's a chance it will work for me. Most of my collection is luxury. If something goes on my skin, I want it to be quality.
